And Bronco has owned Air Force and option offenses in general. We'd be 4-4 at least; 5-3 if we played Hawai'i like we were supposed to.
Assuming BYU would be in the "Mountain Division" instead of Boise State, we would play Air Force (probable win), New Mexico (likely win), Colorado State (likely loss), Utah State (loss), Wyoming (likely win).
The only times BYU finished with a losing record in the MWC were when Crowton was at the helm. Bronco has always been able to beat most MWC teams more often than he loses, especially the bottom feeders:
Bronco's record against current MWC teams:
USU 6-2
Boise State 1-2
Nevada 1-2
Air Force 5-1
San Diego State 6-1
Wyoming 6-0 (including back to back shutouts in 2008-2009)
UNLV 7-0
New Mexico 6-0
Hawai'i 2-0
Colorado State 6-0
San Jose State 1-1
