The sad thing is BYU felt unfairly dealt with when they and the UTES were the top of the MWC but BYU going independent was the wrong move. Staying in the MWC their fans still care about all the games. They have many quality opponents that make for fun football, CSU, Boise, Nevada, USU, Fresno, San Jose, most of the time UNLV and even New Mexico are good. If they stay independent they will become irrevelent. Playing an annual bowl game against the AAC champion goes nowhere.
