Howell is a product of Bronco...
He is doing what Bronco taught him to do.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the off season. IMO Bronco won't can him, because he is what Bronco made him. Reassignment is probably the best outcome for him and Bronco hires a proven DC to take the reigns and let Bronco lead as HC.
With Bronco's defensive philosophy it will be tough to get a proven DC here.
