the scumbag Ute fan was a small minority, and get a chuckle outta Y fans that actually believe the mostly phony horror stories are representative of ute fan norm.

The problem is, the scumbags antics are so egregious it ruins it for many visiting fans and even some Ute fans. Any meathead that mocks my beliefs, I waste zero time trying to stop them, and find some Y fans demands that an ALUF physically "do something" in defense of faith as not realistic, and def not helpful.

The time and place for that is an ongoing discussion directed toward administrators and student groups that having a critical opinion is fine, but if it isn't acceptable behavior if directed towards Jews, Muslims, racial minorities or gays, then it isn't towards Mormons.

I know, I took the op in a diff direction, but booing players is down the list a ways when it comes to ute fan behavior that needs to be checked. Considering the large # of Mormons at the U, meathead is an apt description. They're bashing a big chunk of their own fans. The arrogant "zoob" behavior, "couldn't get accepted here, so u hate BYU" is probably as annoying to me as it is to Utes.

But, whatever the most annoying among Y fans might provoke feelings-wise, the main issue for some time had been the vocal Mormon hater. From all appearances, it's getting worse, so if anything is being done, it ain't workin.
