I just think there was enough happening in regulation too that IS something you can control that getting hung up on officiating doesn't make sense. There are bad calls every night. Sometimes they happen at more prominent points in the game so it exaggerates the influence they have on the outcome. But there's plenty of opportunity to make plays on your own to influence the outcome of a game to a far greater degree IMO.
