Well you evidently know a whole lot more than me.

We used to shoot 5 gallon glue buckets (metal) filled with water. Other than my winchester 44, the 38
always seemed to do more damage than the other pistols, especially the 9mm. I took into consideration
an old friend who is a police officer in Ogden city. He said the 9mm only makes the offender or agressor mad
enough to keep coming at you, and he wouldn't use one in self defense.

My observations are not scientifically certified- just based on my experiences some 20-30 years ago.
As mentioned I no longer posses firearms. I don't even know what is on the market anymore. I
suspect some of the weird things we used to do would mandate jail time in todays world.
