Majerus won with guys like Van Horn, Doleac (makes Nate Austin look like Blake Griffin) , Mottola, Alex Jensen, and one of the most un athletic AA PGs you will ever see in Andre Miller. BUT he spent 75% of each practice on DEFENSE and positioning and attitude. I have said for years and given up the call that Majerus showed us the blueprint on how to win with LDS athletes, DEFENSE AND REBOUNDING. Unfortunately we seem to have taken the opposite approach, but no point in arguing that anymore. SO to answer your question, ABSOLUTELY it can be done, we have seen it done before, but it takes a 100% reversal in mindset.
