cheaper, way better on time arrival than SFO due to better weather (I know, weird, since you can see one airport from the other across the Bay), easier to get in and out of with straight shots to San Jose, East Bay or downtown SF.

BART has just become too nasty for me. IMO, nobody should ride the first train in the morning (4:30 ish) or after 9 pm. Too many crazies at the station with no security that I can see. I like the airport connector to the Coliseum station despite the price. When the new BART trains role in and I can get the image of the soaking wet seat out of my mind, I will be back aboard. For now, I only use it when it is most convenient and only stand no matter how many are on the train.
