Besides, the reasoning for only doing one is that you don't need two to

effectively distinguish one sentence from another with the fonts we use on computers. But I still have an easier time reading dense legal documents when there are 2 spaces between sentences. Also, the partners at my firm prefer 2, so that's what I do. So take that.
