Does anyone remember the Holiday Bowl?

BYU went to the first Holiday Bowl in 1978 and lost to Navy. We played in it just about every year up until the WAC broke apart in 1997-1998. By the late 80's BYU fans were tired of the Holiday Bowl. The players were tired of seeing the aircraft carrier, etc.

Maybe 10 mediocre bowls in a row has the same affect. At least they are in different places.
