It sounds really good, and spouting those two stats is a quick and easy way of elevating one's self to "true fandom" (a major accomplishment of some kind--at least as noteworthy as one's personal streak of consecutively wearing white shirts to church).

Don't worry about the caliber of opponents or actual level of football your own team is playing. It's ok to like those things (I guess), if they don't influence your level of interest in your team. As long as it wears a Y on the helmet, and it's winning, you should be stoked.
