I don't begin to know the motivations of these guys, but I wouldn't expect that a couple million more per year is what would close the deal for Harbaugh. Money will be a nice consideration, but I don't think that is what makes the difference for him - just my $0.02. For these guys, I would guess it is more about legacy and the mark they want to leave on the sport. At that level of coaching, the money will be there regardless.
