With the announcement of the Justin Upton trade this morning, San Diego has added three strong right-handed hitters to their line up--fortifying a major weakness from last season. LA is also aggressively trying to make moves. Teams in the division are trying hard to get better. Yet, as you mentioned, the Giants have only made a few offers and don't seem very broken up about losing out on these players. I just hope their relative inactivity doesn't come back to bite them.
