I don't understand people thinking that other conferences will vote for a
policy change that will benefit another conference so much more than their own. I get that the ACC is on board because they would like to arrange their conference so that the league can determine who the best two teams are (years were FSU and Clemson are the best, they won't ever play in the CCG because they are in the same division). But the B1G is fine, they just added teams and divided them up the way they want. Same with the Pac12. These conferences understand that sometimes it's better to have a mismatch in the CCG if it means that you have a better chance at getting someone into the CFP. If FSU/Clemson played in the CCG last year there was THAT much more of a chance FSU doesn't make it to the NC.

I don't believe that motion will pass, at least not right now. The B1G and the Pac12 just expanded BECAUSE of that rule. Now they're going to turn around and vote for it just for the ACC and Big 12? I don't think so.
