I have come to the conclusion that FIFA is one of the most corrupt organizations in existence. It's understandable why they gave Russia the next world cup even without the supposed bribes, but to have the world cup in Qatar is just nuts. Nothing about that makes sense other than a money grab. To put the world cup in a country with only 2.2 million people (there are more people in Utah) and the average temperature in the summer of over 100 degrees doesn't make sense and won't work, I don't care how much selling they do on technology to lower the temperature in the stadiums.

I am hoping that Sepp gets booted soon and a more rational head takes over and moves it to the US where it belongs, but I fear you are correct and it will remain there.
