Take tampa. They gave excellent support, but stadium location and the park itself kills attendance. If it stays, they will never draw. Miami. Fail. Terrible sports town, and the park is in a terrible neighborhood. But their issue is like many others at the bottom. Fans don't want to support a team that doesn't dupport them...unless it is the weekend. This was a struggle of Baltimore for years. If fans see that money is put in to the team, they will pay.
Heck, even Houston, who isn't anywhere near an mlb team, draws 21,000 on average. That's incredible for a terrible franchise that plays 81 home games.
Really, I can't believe that you cited washington, among others. Wash has incredible attendance. They are 12th in mlb.
