Hasn't been a ton of talent to develop until last year. The guys who should turn out and don't have weird issues have turned out. Other than that the last few years, there just hasn't been much to work with. The previous coaches didn't recruit too well from top to bottom.

I don't think Apo was a development issue. Mathews has arguably reached his potential. Hoffman exceeded what people thought his was. Other guys have stayed injured through their careers. Blame the coaches for not recruiting anyone with potential high enough to do anything with.
