According to one of the coaches of this team, this is false.
The U hasn't mentored them at all, not have they used their facilities. They did one tour of the U and attended a practice. They'll do the same at BYU during spring ball.
The U hand signal they use is meant to represent the state of Utah, not the University of Utah.
The jersey color was assigned to them.
