Ellis blows up for a tied season high and season high FG% from 2 with over 10 shots. And Rondo had 9 assists and 7 boards. A great PG being there helps Ellis rather than hurts him. Lets Ellis be the SG he is and just do his thing rather than act as somewhat of a part time point. His assists will go down but he could average 25 a game the rest of the season while Rondo can still stay pretty close to averaging a triple double.
I think we'll see a better flow once players get used to playing with Rondo. With guys like him you have to be aware and ready at any time. He sees passes and he'll attempt them so you better be ready.
