Texas wants full control....they lose that by leaving their OWN conference
Texas is the highest revenue producing program in the nation. They rake in $150 million a year in sports compare that to BYU somewhere in the $50 Million range. They have their own TV channel afforded to them because they control the Big12. The PAC12 couldn't deal with a program this big.
So yes, I suppose the PAC12 could destroy the Big12 by pulling Texas....but it won't happen now.
