I don't get why more CBers don't understand this. Collette
was on nobody's radar after his HS junior year and so had no offers at the early signing date. He then had a very nice senior year and USU signed him the following April.
He was so far under the radar that neither Rivals, ESPN, or even Scout had him rated.
Good for USU, but how is BYU supposed to predict kids like this when nobody else could? Even USU didn't take him until late.
