Not a lot you can do when faced with a 10-11 ft tall, hungry, unafraid-of-mankind, animal weighing in the neighborhood of 1000-1500 lbs with claws as long as meat hooks. The guy wouldn't have won a foot race from his vehicle to the place where the person taking the pictures was located.
