is a plus. There is some skiing just south of Reno (can't say how great) and about 1-1.5 hours to tahoe. You will get some good (maybe a few years later than Vegas) shows through there as it is still an entertainment area. The minor league baseball team has a nice facility that is pretty new. About 10-11 hour drive to BYU games or conference so that is a plus. Probably look at living in NW Reno or Sparks. A big mall on south side of town has pretty much everything. I think they have a small water park and a couple of mini golf places. The train goes through so you could train it to San Fran or SLC.
