Carbs are killer for weight loss, but it does depend on the type of carbs
Simple carbs, like sugars, white bread, etc. Get digested quickly and will be stored as fat unless the body is in need of the energy at that moment. More complex carbs, like those from whole grains, digest more slowly and can therefore be consumed by the body without as much risk as going straight to fat storage.
