Utah is jumping ahead of byu because it is in the pac 12. I would love to be 8-5 in the pac 12, but as an indy, 10-2 and probably 11-1 still gets you the miami bowl. Look at the home schedule and tell me indy is soo much better than a pac12 home schedule. Yes winning solves alot of ills, but being in the pac 12 would help byu with recruiting and home schedule which would help with possibly winning more games. Utah being in the pac12 is a huge advantage for utah.
