some of it is on Bronco for not recognizing the wolf watching the sheep in his..
...own backyard and stepping up his effort. I guess I should just get used to it from now on. We didn't lose the best Timp players when Louis Wong was the HC and nobody was naive enough either to think he wasn't loyal to BYU when it came to his players recruiting decisions. I think it's hilariously naive on the part of Whit defenders to believe he doesn't influence his kids to go to his brother's team.

It's common sense, it's a big decision for a kid and there's a lot they don't know about and haven't experienced yet regarding playing college football that they want to know before making that decision. They are going to ask their HC who they trust to tell them what he thinks. I highly doubt in a private conversation that Cary is going to give an equal, impartial and fair representation of BYU football side by side with Utah football. His sense of loyalty is to his brother first and foremost and it will come out in his opinion.

It's called "word-of-mouth" and business directed by it is a big part of what makes a business or organization successful. If someone asked you about a good place to eat you won't give fair, equal and unbiased commentary on a bunch of different restaurants. You will suggest your favorite(s) or places you're most loyal to.
