I didn't hear the ax grinding that so many Bronco defenders want to hear. I didn't hear much of any emotion at all to be honest.
He definitely said some cutting things. Sounded more like a broken man, sad for his alma mater to me. And frankly, he didn't say anything we haven't heard before.
If you know anything about Jason at all, you know he's a fiery guy. Lots of emotion. There was none of that in this interview. Just his frank opinion that he had obviously thought about more than once....like many other former players.
So if you want to make it about his son, I guess you can. But it sure didn't sound like it.
BYU has issues. Face it. Fix it. Those that can. Don't tell the others who are pointing it out that it doesn't help. It does.
