Yea, and everyone forgets that LaVell had a Heismon trophy winner at

QB and went over to Hawaii unprepared and squandered a great opportunity for a lofty final ranking, then embarrassed the program by looking like a HS team against Texas A&M, went and lost at UTEP with arguably the greatest talented BYU team ever, went to Syracuse and again embarrassed the prodrambylosing 66-3 (or something like that). Spare me all of the LaVell sainthood...
