room for you up through early February, and then after that it was first come first serve for apartments. By the time I decided to stay there (which I don't think was until early March or so) my room was full, but there were other apartments still in the same building still available (about 50% of the spots in the building were still open, my specific apartment was just filled up). I ended up moving a couple doors down for the fall as a result. If he wants to make sure he can keep the same room he better sign by Tuesday to play it safe, but he still might be able to stay put if he doesn't.
