Bubble meaning BSU fans believing everyone thinks the blue turf is great, the best recruits want to play there, their resources are second to none, blue and orange looking good together, they sell more gear than almost anyone, ESPN loves BSU and fights to have them on the air, etc etc. I have a lot of family and friends in Boise and I have attended several games there. These are not isolated comments. These are also things I have heard from BSU fans in the past year who are big sports fans and should know better.

I am not talking at all about BSUs on field performance which continues to be far better than it should be. They have accomplished remarkable things though they would go the way of Utah or worse should they play more than two to three challenging games per year. The MWC is brutal (and I know BYU lost to them this year).
