opposite has been true here. fanboys ignore poor games and glorify in his wins.
so maybe it goes both ways. but, while i believe he was a net neg at BYU, i will say two seriously positive things:

1. He has been the single most durable player BYU has had in a long while and that matters;

2. That we all talk about him so much, whether for good or ill, means necessarily that he is a high potential force in one direction or another. i do not underestimate his prospects for remaining in the spotlight beyond this year.

He hardly left with class.
