...we don't eat it constantly but there's no magic wand. Unless you have no debt, the expenses go up with expectations of your spouse and yourself and then you get to pay higher taxes and student loans.

I'm almost 2 years out and have barely made a dent in my loans while we bought a house...and not THE house.
