I dont agree with that at all.
The sky is not falling - not even close. BYU sports is in a better position now than it ever has been. I just don't understand this trend of overreacting to every little thing.

10 years ago the Pac 12 was making $6 million per team.
Josef K

And BYU was making less than 1 million.

So in your mind a $5 million difference is better than a $10 million difference.

I don't see how that's relevant.

Our situation is not the same as 10 years ago. It is worse.

I don't think the sky is falling either but there is absolutely a widening gap

Exactly. Utah will receive nearly $100M more than BYU over the next 10 years.

Did we even get paid money for our bowl last year?

Lower tier bowls are never a money maker...hopefully you cover your expenses

15 years ago BYU needed to be paid 1 million just to break even

While I'm positive we lost money, I'm wondering if we got paid at all.

If not they could repurpose it and sell it on PPV.

Then let's get a serious coach and win some meaningful games
MajorZeus

So each team would roughly have to give up $3.5 million, give or take, to add
SWUte

But that is neglecting any additional revenue from the 2 added teams.
