so why do we call blacks, AAs? Having lived on the east coast for many years and now in California, I've realized that the only people that call blacks AAs are people who don't have any black friends or just aren't comfortable around them. My black colleagues hate being referred to as African American. This is just one of the many reasons why we don't get many black athletes on our teams. Just my two cents.
