BYU was a Franchuk away from the Final Four, had Davies
not been suspended, BYU would have had a higher seed, the Sweet 16 Florida game would not have gone to OT and BYU would have faced 8 seed Butler (25-10) in the Elite 8 matchup. Championships are about having great teams more than one great player. Remember BYU had to revert to starting a freshman guard at the post (KC) rather than a future NBA post player (Davies).
