When Ainge played, most everyone outside the state of Utah probably hadn't even see him play a game until he got to the NCAA tournament. I love Jimmer. My single greatest live sports memory is when he lit up SDSU on national TV in the MC. But I disagree that he's hands down the best player to ever come out of the state, which is what the OP postulated. You can make a good case for him – just as you can for a few other guys.
