If he had listened to virtually anyone, by almost any measure he should have quit. How many "he isn't a D-1 player" comments did he get last year on this board and they were right. He was not good.

And every time he made another 3 last night on his way to 19, the guys behind me were like "you can't leave him alone" and "that guy is such a sharp shooter" "he makes it everytime"...

Even more astounding than the difference in his game from last year to this year was the mental fortitude required to tune that out, believe in yourself, and work through it. What a victory story.
