I don't see that as rude, just a statement of the way things are today.

On the other hand, BSU would jump at the chance to join a P5 conference. That's why we tried to go to the Big East, before that whole thing imploded.

From what I read on here, I don't think BYU is as interested in joining a P5. I would love for BSU and BYU to go to [insert P5 conference here] together.
