I was a pre-dental student at UVU and was accepted to BYU after completing my generals there. While meeting with a pre-dental advisor at BYU he wisely counseled me to stay at UVU citing the competitive nature of BYU science classes and the sheer number of fellow BYU pre-dental students I would be competing with for interviews. I can't remember the gentleman's name but I owe him a lot. I was accepted to all 8 dental schools I interviewed at and received a scholarship to the school I'll be attending starting in July. I know a huge part of this had to do with the high GPA I was able to keep while attending UVU.
