Like seeing animals. Jaco for surfing and the snorkeling cruise with lunch is great with kids. Scuba not so much in my experience but others might feel different. Waterfall rapelling in the arenal area was fun. Rent a vehicle and drive imo....we had no issues in 2 weeks. Crocodile bridge interesting for kids. Vrbo.com was great for getting rental places.
