Corbin has moved from inept to credible and certainly more effective than the other available bigs in the last few games.
No question Corbin has one of the sharpest learning curves in college basketball, given how much he has yet to learn and due to his own hard work. Of course you have a point that he has likely progressed faster via the baptism of fire.
But don't forget, Nate Austin improved in each of the last three years and was projected (by CBS i think) to be the 3rd leading rebounder in the nation. Corbin has yet to grab more than 6 rebounds in a game.
I wish not to be misunderstood, i love Corbin and believe in his potential to be very good. Hopefully he can rise to Nate's level next year but no way he is there now.
But with Kaufusi, Sharp and Bartley getting minutes, it is nice to have some active shot blockers in the game.
