is what does Claire want? All this time we think we've gotten to know her, but now I feel like everything they've shown has meant nothing. Does she want power? Does she want love? Her actions don't point to either of those things. What the heck does she even want? As a writer, that's my biggest question for every character. Sure, sometimes people don't appear to be doing what will get them what they want, but that's because of hidden information or an ulterior motive, something the audience may not immediately understand. But Claire's actions make no sense, ESPECIALLY in light of the way that Frank caved to her time and time again in this season. I thought Frank was as good to her in season 3 as he ever was, and yet it ended the way it did.

Truthfully, from the way they shot her scenes in the last two episodes, I thought she was going to kill him.
