They tried to paint her as Lady Macbeth the past 2 seasons
and then they in season 3 they try to show a change of heart. But it comes across as more of a break in character than a change of heart. They should have showed the affect her time in Russia had on her over time. They should have shown her to really feel the damage that her and Frank have done in the past.
In general there seem to be less of the more Shakespearean elements.
