The only way BYU to the pac12 makes sense to me is ...
if the p12, B1G, SEC, and ACC have decided that there should only be 4 - 16 team 'power conferences' and they've decided to carve up the Big 12 to make it happen and BYU gets added to the p12 as part of that shift.
