... Everything was great except toward the end, it seemed all the passengers got sideways with the ship's captain.

I've only been on two cruises. Both were Western Caribbean trips.

We like Norwegian. But as long as you stay away from carnival you'll be fine.

If you don't want to leave from Florida you can do a Caribbean cruise f/ Houston

I did Carnival Western Caribbean, it was great. Doing Royal Caribbean in Apr.
