Hence my point that Kurtz isn't any more of a questionmark than many players
that have spent time on the field.

Heaps was a 'known' quantity and wasn't, and shouldn't have been considered a question mark, but he tanked his sophomore year. If he was a question mark, then every.....single....player, regardless of their experience is a question mark.

Also, unlike Heaps who couldn't play well enough in practice to shake off Riley Nelson his freshman year, Kurtz's practice reviews have been uniformly good.

Again, he may not work out, but, IMO, that isn't much more likely to happen than an established player having some struggles.
