I was in the roving band after the Ainge drive. In the intersection between the
Wilk and Heritage, we had probably 1000 students crowded into the intersection. Cars would creep up to the intersection and we'd part like the Red Sea.

An older couple (I'm talking in their 80's or so) must have inadvertently come that way and when they came to the intersection, you could see they were apprehensive. They inched forward and were looking up at us with their magnifying-glass-type glasses and had an alarmed (not terrified) look on their faces.

As they rolled through the intersection, people were waving and yelling to them and (lightly) slapping their car.

I"m guessing they had no idea about the game and what had happened. Must have freaked them out.
