I know a guy who grew up Catholic, joined the church as a college freshman,

went on a mission and transferred to BYU where he graduated. He's still a hardcore Notre Dame fan and pretty serious Gonzaga fan. He says that changing his religion was one thing, but changing his sports loyalties is something he's not willing to do.
