which is quite comical considering my behavior (but, hey, let's not talk about me).
I don't have any problem with buying and re-selling in any other situation. In fact, people who do this at garage sales (while annoying with their constant bartering) are providing a great service to everyone. I don't think it is the same at thrift stores. And to be perfectly honest, I don't really have a problem with poor people doing it at thrift stores, or even when it involves items that have sat on the shelf for a while.
I do, however, have a problem (not literally) with the people who know the exact times when thrift stores put out new items on the shelves and are waiting like vultures to pounce without ever giving those who truly might use those items and need the thrift store system a chance to buy the items. I'm not in any way saying these people are equivalent to criminals or that they are even "bad" people, I'm just saying I personally have a problem (again, not literally) with them.
