The culture has everything to do with it. Even in internationally matches, when
the opponent goes to kick a conversion or a penalty, the jumbo tron says, "please respect the kicker" and like golf or tennis off the crowd is too "obnoxious" the announcer tells the crowd be respectful. It's just how the sport is
